Arthur Korvin

Biography

Arthur Korvin is a Ukrainian-born writer whose work blends speculative fiction, psychological conflict, mythology, and dark, expansive world-building.

He first felt drawn to storytelling while studying at university. Academic essays seemed too narrow for the ideas forming in his mind, and he began writing stories beyond the boundaries of what he had been assigned. Those early works remained unpublished, but the impulse never disappeared. Years later, during a difficult period in his life, writing became a way to confront inner turmoil and transform it into something meaningful.

His debut novel, Artificial Liberty, explored science fiction and the struggle between freedom, power, and control. His second novel, The Nightmare, began with a single dream: a fiery horse racing through darkness, breathing flame and defending humanity from the undead. That image gradually grew into a larger world of frontier violence, ancient folklore, and wounded characters forced to face the paths that once broke them. Beneath his stories lies the idea, where survival requires more than defeating an enemy - it requires confronting the wounds carried within.

Arthur draws inspiration from writers such as Roger Zelazny, George R. R. Martin, Bernard Werber, and James S. A. Corey, as well as story-driven games including Mass Effect, The Witcher, Red Dead Redemption, and Alan Wake. His research ranges across history, mythology, documentaries, and the unexpected ways different cultures and folk traditions echo one another.
